About ME
Hi! I'm a pharmacist by training, a clinical researcher by profession and a full time enthusiast of creative chaos by hobby. During the day (and most weeknights), I'm trying to work on making the world a healthier place. On weekends (and honestly whenever else I get a chance), I'm mixing colors, playing with glitter, painting, crafting or experimenting in the kitchen., and occasionally turning my home into what can be described as a very ambitious art and craft lab!
I believe life (and food) should be a little spicy (Hello mirchi!), a little sweet (even if my HbA1c doesnt love that!) and a bucketload of creative. Whether I'm adding "just a touch more" of paint that ends up with re-paining a whole canvas, perfecting a recipe or convincing myself that my next craft will cause less waste of supplies, I am all about enjoying the process.
This space is where I plan to share things I learn along the way- including the many mistakes I make while convincing myself that I know what I'm doing. Think of this website as part art studio, part kitchen experiment zone and part "why did I think this craft was a good idea?" diary. From painting adventures that start with I love bright colors and end with pastels (or get re-painted to be lighter!), to recipes that go from "this is going to taste like when my mom made it" to "maybe lets get take out" for dinner... I'm here for it all.
I've learnt that creativity isnt about being perfect, its about trying, messing up, laughing about it (and often eating the failure away!) and then trying again. Welcome to my journey- where the ideas are big, the execution is questionable but I'm almost always having fun.
